New Details on Dead Space: Extraction

While 1UP previously reported that Dead Space: Extraction, is an on-rails prequel to the survival-horror FPS, Dead Space, EA revealed several new details about the dark, atmospheric shooter at a recent press junket.
While, gameplay-wise, it shares more in common with House of the Dead: Overkill than the first Dead Space, it borrows more than enough from its source material to firmly place you in the original’s world. In addition to the foreboding, claustrophobic setting, the game includes pop-up video logs that relate details about the story, and telekinetic powers for grabbing distant objects.
