iPhone Review: Star Wars Trench Run | The Portable Gamer

TPG writes: "Ultimately I would love to see the original PC X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter game make its way to the iPhone, but if this was comparatively priced, it would have to be $75. I hope THQ can update the game with a bit more depth to help the price/content ratio. They could add in the Millennium Falcon turret sequence or the timeless AT-AT battle on Hoth. As it stands now, only the hardcore Star Wars fan should apply to the academy."

TPG writes: "A Game About Smashing Bombiez, iHooy, (or iHooy as the app is titled) appears on the surface to be an attempt to make a castle defense game with blood and colorful captions between stages, however it comes across as a poorly designed Flash game ported over to the iPhone and iPod Touch."

With Super Street Fighter 4 and Lost Planet due next year you would think that Capcom would be resting on their laurels and contemplating the possibility of Resident Evil 6.  This is not the case. Capcom have announced the release of the next crop of their classic back catalogue to get an HD remix for PSN and Xbox Live Arcade.

Final Fight: Double Impact is a double pack  including Final Fight and Magic Sword, both rendered in Capcom’s proprietary engine to give them an high-definition edge. Fans looking for a more authentic arcade experience can choose to play them in either classic or arcade cabinet modes.

Both games include multiplayer modes allowing you to brawl your way across Metro City or stick it to the dark lord Drokmar with your buddies and Capcom’s now ubiqutous leaderboards so you can flaunt your high scores.

Final Fight: Double Impact will be available on Xbox Live Arcade and PSN in April of next year.
