Dutch gaming website reports that EA asked their exclusive serverhosting partners to no longer rent out any servers untill the current server problems are fixed

PSLS writes: "Only days ago, EA’s latest installment of the Battlefield series, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, was released on the PlayStation 3. While the game has been met with great praise, the multi-player component has faced some issues including server disconnects and EA Store issues. Thankfully, EA have since stated that they are looking at resolving the issues and should have a fix out soon…"

Xbox 360 owners will be dealt a bad blow when it was announced that all systems will be reset on Xbox 360 in a few hours.

Valve has released Steam’s top ten sellers list for the week ending on February 27, with Battlefield: Bad Company 2 leading the charge heading into its launch week.

When two developers go head to head for the same core audience, it’s not uncommon for their to be some rivalry between the two groups. DICE and Infinity Ward are in this situation. Firing the first shots over the bow, DICE references Modern Warfare 2 in Bad Company 2’s single player campaign. The video below is a couple of references that appear to be directed squarely at Infinity Ward. Apparently, DICE believes that both heart monitors on your guns and snow mobiles are for sissies….ZING!(more)

YourEMGN: "Before a blockbuster game comes out there is always the early pirated version that is leaked or there will always be small population of gamers that claim got an ‘early copy’ uh huh…. So after surfing the various gaming forums and the internet, It was was satisfying to find that I hit something quite solid. Sure these Pirates and Retailers that distribute early copies incognito might be treated as the vermin of the Gaming industry, but lets be honest, how else will you satisfy your hype?"
