Bungie’s Next Big Thing
AOTF: Ever since Bungie announced that Halo: Reach would be their final development title in the Halo Universe, many have speculated as to what the company might be up to. Some have speculated that they will focus their efforts on multiplatform titles, others have guessed a little closer to their roots in a Marathon redux. We recently came across a trademark registration that Bungie filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on March 9th, 2010. It looks like Bungie is going inter-galactic.
The Bungie Aerospace trademark is likely to be used in conjunction with….

Halo: Reach Screenshots (Fraggin’ evil)
If you own an Xbox 360, stop feigning like you don’t care. Sure MW2 is taking all your online time but don’t forget who got you there. And if you own a PS3, don’t pretend you’re not jealous. Sure, online is free but you’ve never had the joy of Halo. Either way, Halo: Reach, the squad based shooter from Microsoft’s juggernaut indie studio Bungie is coming sooner than you think. Built on an entirely new engine, it is likely to be the best looking Halo game yet, with skirmishes bragging over 40 AIs duking it out for control over the doom-sealed-fate of the planet Reach. Halo: Reach; Still Not Close To KillZone 2
Bungie Talks Visual Upgrades In Halo: Reach; Still Not Close To KillZone 2 Bungie released a new developer documentary from the X10 event and it primarily focuses on how Halo: Reach will now look like a game that partly belongs in this generation of gaming.
Let’s face it, Halo 3 looked like crap to be considered "next-gen"…it barely looked like it graduated from the visuals of the original Xbox. This is despite fanboys protesting otherwise.
Anyway, Bungie has finally brought the visuals of the Halo series up to par with maybe, the first Mass Effect. So at least die-hard fans of the sci-fi shooter can brag to their PS3 rivals that they have a Halo that at least looks two years behind the competition. Reach is still no KillZone 2, though. Word of advice to Bungie: only brag about the graphics of a game when it looks better than the competition.
