Famitsu has released the latest sales rankings on Japanese PSN with Vol. 7 of the PSN Best 10. No real surprises this reporting period as Monster Hunter Freedom Unite grabs the top game spot.

The biggest Japanese game magazine, Famitsu, has awarded its highest score to stealth game Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. In the process, the publication has shown that, as a source of objective game reviews, it cannot be trusted.
This week’s Famitsu reviews include a perfect score for Kojima’s latest masterpiece, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and also reveals that the story is indeed 30-40 hours long.
Famitsu reveals that the new entry of Ryu Ga Gotoku series is for the PSP.The game is referred to as "Project K".
The latest issue of Famitsu is released in Japan and Famitsu review scores are leaking out right now. The biggest game reviewed in the issue is Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Well, Kojima has struck gold once again with this new PSP release as the game has received the highest score possible in Famitsu.

Enterbrain(parent company of Famitsu) CEO Hirokazu Hamamura recently spoke about the PSP’s performance in a marketing seminar. Though he has high hopes for the upcoming Monster Hunter 3, he seemed pretty cynical of the PSP. Hamamura said the PSP was destined to be a platform that would only be viable in Japan.
Level-5’s next game will be announced in the next Famitsu. Company CEO Akihiro Hino recently said that it "will become an extremely anticipated."
Famitsu has revealed the top 10 best-selling games in Japan for the month of March.
