In news that probably won’t shock most people, rumor has it that Microsoft and Turn 10 have already begun development on the next installment in the Forza Motorsport franchise.
Forza Motorsport 3 has eclipse 2 million copies sold since its October release, putting it just slightly ahead of handheld rival Gran Turismo PSP.
That Forza Motorsport 3 has sold 2 million copies is a great thing, though it’s not totally fair to compare it with the 1.8 million Gran Turismo copies bought on PSP. After all, PSP is a handheld and Xbox 360 is a console.
OXCGN:
"Well I downloaded the pack as soon as it became available early this morning Aust time, and have taken all 10 for a spin. It includes the following cars, and I’ll have an extensive road test on all ten by tomorrow morning."
2009 has been a pretty good year for gaming, while not as good as good as other years as far as quantity there were many high quality games such as Uncharted 2, Dragon age: Origins and Forza Motorsport 3 to close the gap and next year looks no different. 2010 has a VAST amount of stellar and high quality looking games coming our way, in fact the list is so great, I have narrowed it down to the most promising games releasing next year in each Genre. Today we are looking at First Person shooters. They may be cliche alot of the time but you cannot deny how fun the genre is and thats is what next year’s line up is all about.

Forza Motorsport 3 has sold over one million units since it’s October launch, and what better way to celebrate then some new DLC, and crazy stats? Forza players have spent a collective total of 6.6 million hours playing online, and they’ve driven over 590 million miles – that’s more than three trips to the fracking sun and back! As for the Hot Holidays Car Pack, it contains ten cars, most of which are pretty awesome.
The pack will set you back 400 Microsoft Points, as well as the in game credits needed to purchase the cars from the storefront. Not enough cars for you? Well, another premium pack has been announced with a January 12th release date. Keep an eye on the official Forza site for details on the new DLC as they become available.
As you can see through the link, Turn 10 has released today a new update for Forza Motorsport 3 that include, in addition to some bugfixes, the shift animation in the cockpit visual.
