The next shooter from the creators of PS2 and Xbox shooter Black has been unveiled in the latest issue of the Official Xbox Magazine.
Developed by Codemasters’ Guildford team, Bodycount is a shooter to keep your eyes on. This is because the Guildford team features several key members from Criterion’s Black team, and is headed by Stuart Black who was co-creator on the FPS that shares his name
Split-Screen: "Killzone 2 had many trumps as the Playstation 3’s FPS opus of 2009, but enemies of the game – the Helghast – arguably became it’s icons. Particularly Scholar Visari, the so-called "emperor" of the Helghan army, who’s appearances were brief throughout the series and catalytic more than cataclysmic in Killzone 2. Some concept art has recently surfaced that besides showcasing the various missions also showcases several designs that didn’t make it into the game or which had an underplayed part."

Futuremark have released a new update for their zero-g FPS Shattered Horizon. The update is set to introduce a lot of features and tweaks that the game’s community have requested.
Jaakko Haapasalo, producer at Futuremark Games Studio said: “This update which includes voice chat and other popular suggestions gathered directly from our community makes Shattered Horizon a better experience for all our players. And with four new levels coming soon in the free Moonrise content pack Shattered Horizon will soon be even better value too.”

I remember how Bad Company 1 also made me say this exact same thing. I was blown away by the destructibility in the game and felt it was above any other shooter. I couldn’t enjoy another shooter as much as Bad Company, and now I feel MAG has even trumped it with all of it’s features, even without destruction. I enjoyed the Bad Company 2 beta a lot and couldn’t wait to get my hands on it, but then MAG came out. I had no intention of even getting the game until a week before release. A great decision by me, and I’m sure by a lot of other people."

Both games have their pro’s and con’s, however Modern Warfare 2 is of course the top selling game of the two. This doesn’t necessarily mean that it is the better game, but then again that doesn’t mean that Killzone 2 is either. The purpose of this article is to provoke the question upon us, which game really defined first person shooters on consoles last year?
Let me compare a few the aspects from each game, so it will be easier to come to a conclusion.
