GamerZines: Valve has revealed the latest set of features to hit their Steamworks service, the tool which allows game developers to add their wares to Steam, including support for in-game microtransactions.

The latest brochure – linked after jump – shows what Steam updates gamers can expect in 2010 including a new look games library which will allow easier tracking of achievements in a more ergonomic fashion, and the ability to buy downloadable game content without having to go back to the desktop.

This brings Steam’s content delivery and user interface more in line with similar online platforms like PSN and Xbox Live.

Mega Man 10 is out this week.  I don’t know what more you really need to hear.  If you tear through that in a moments notice, you could also snag the MLB10: The Show demo and warm up before running to the store.  No, Mega Man will not pitch for your favorite baseball team.  Though that would be some sweet DLC!

All the game content was there, and enough of the raw BioShock DNA was there to make it a worthwhile experience in its own right, but compared to the original Xbox 360 version of the game it was a disappointment. This time 2K has made efforts to get it right. There’s no year-long delay between versions, and on first impressions it seems the development team has done well in replicating the look of the game across both platforms."
