PS3 Just Passes 360 In Worldwide February Results
PlayStrum writes: "February saw an outstanding number for the Xbox 360 in North America, surpassing even the Nintendo Wii and claiming the month as the best February in the 360’s history. Although the PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii do seem to be experiencing major shortages in the US, it’s still quite impressive to see such a big gap between Microsoft’s console and every other one."

PS3 motion controller fails to Move
Financial Times: Sony has failed to market its motion technology to maximum effect and its launch of its Move motion controller for the PlayStation 3 on Wednesday represents it arriving late to the current-generation game and with little new to offer.
The demonstrations were unimpressive. It was hard to see how this was much of an advance on the motion-sensing gameplay currently offered by Nintendo.
Sony’s Motion Controller Underwhelms With Janky Games
Wired: Sony let us try a few of the games after its presentation. On the whole, they weren’t that much fun, feeling more like rough proof-of-concept tech demos than software that’s will excite consumers. If the Move is more precise than the Wii remote, it didn’t much matter when PlayStation 3’s versions of tennis and bowling just felt jankier than Wii Sports. At this point, the software isn’t living up to the promises of the technology.
ZTGD: MLB 10: The Show Playstation 3 Review
Scorched Angel Writes: Overall, this game is a must buy for any baseball fan. It is up there with some of the best baseball games of all time, and is one that deserves to go on your shelf. Sony literally hit it out of the park this year. Even with the problems in the online mode, this game is still worthy of a buy, as it will last you well past when the next MLB The Show comes out. It is truly still the king of baseball simulation.
PlayStation Move Gets Its First Wii Port
Kotaku writes: "With the PlayStation Move looking, well, similar to Nintendo’s Wii Remote, you may have wondered how long it would take until it was announced a Wii game was being ported to the PS3. The answer? How about, oh, a few hours.
Warner Bros let us know today that The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest, a game previously headed for the Wii (and DS), will now also be making an appearance on the PlayStation 3, "with full support for PlayStation’s upcoming motion controller technology"."
How The PlayStation Move Is NOT A Wii Remote
Kotaku writes: I just played SOCOM 4 with the newly-named PlayStation Move controller. And now I know how the PlayStation 3’s motion-sensitive controller is not just a me-too Wii controller.
Fewer buttons: The Move controller is actually even more streamlined than the Wii Remote. Nintendo’s Remote still offers/confuses a new player with a d-pad, plus, A, minus, 1 and 2 buttons as well as a home button and B trigger. The Move has its own home button and underbelly trigger, but just five other points of button input. That makes the controller actually feel a little naked and therefore likely even less daunting to a new player – unless they need their controllers to look like TV remotes.
