Virgin Gaming, Ubisoft Ink Online Tournament Deal
Ubisoft is the latest publisher to sign with Virgin Gaming, an online tournament provider that was unveiled during E3. The service will be providing tournaments for games like the upcoming Ghost Recon Future Soldier.
In addition to the Ubisoft catalog, Virgin Gaming currently supports tournaments for games like Halo 3, ModNation Racers and MLB 10: The Show. They plan to give away more than $1 million in cash and prizes over the service’s first 12 months.
“Virgin Gaming is a unique convergence of social networking, video games and competitive gaming, and we are excited that Ubisoft shares our vision for the platform and its potential,” CEO Rob Segal said in an official statement.
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Is Natal Enabled
According to french video games website Jeuxvideo, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be playable using Project Natal. The first person shooter from Ubisoft is supposed to have a special game mode that will allow movement recognition, controller aim mixed with hand gestures to control the interface and the ability to give commands by wrist directed movements.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier confirmed for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360
The Lost Gamer writes "Following confusion earlier when the released PR made no mention of Sony’s current console, Kimi Matsuzaki, Senior Community Developer for Ubisoft, has confirmed that Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is heading for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360."
Ubisoft aren’t ready to reveal Ghost Recon: Future Soldier platforms yet
Ubisoft announced Ghost Recon: Future Soldier this morning, with the Xbox 360 being the only platform confirmed. When Strategy Informer asked Ubisoft about PS3 or PC versions, the firm told Strategy Informer that it won’t be revealing the platforms just yet as gamers will have to wait for more announcements.
