Some games seemed designed to push you to your wit’s end. A lack of checkpoints, instant deaths, ungodly attacks and more are thrown at us gamers to keep us from achieving total victory. This is a list that celebrates (or mourns, depending on how you look at it) the top ten controller smashing moments on the Xbox 360.
Red Eagle Games and Obsidian Entertainment today announced that it’s formed an agreement to create new video games based on Robert Jordan’s fantasy series, The Wheel of Time for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
"The development team at Obsidian Entertainment has demonstrated time and again that they can successfully blend storytelling with technology to craft a superior RPG game experience," said Rick Selvage, Chief Executive Officer of Red Eagle Games. The mission division’s "job" is to bring popular series to the Xbox 360. While the wheeling and dealing Xbox 360 head San Roku Maru (that’s 360) isn’t real, the initiative is. And it appears the mission division has a second title to reveal.
Xbox Gaming writes: "So 2009 came and went, leaving in its wake a number of truly brilliant games, as well as a number of dodgy ones (you know who you are), and now here we are in 2010, ready for yet another onslaught of gaming goodness. With so much to look forward to, we thought now would be a good time to put together a list of some of our most eagerly anticipated titles on their way in 2010, packed in an easy to use slideshow below…"
Well, at least console domination. In a press release, the gaming giant speaks to it’s new commitment to downloadable distribution. They plan on making available new games, classic games and bestseller games (duh) via what’s being called “digital distribution,” a misnomer if we’ve ever heard one. Ah, well. Here’s what’s planned for now on the XBox 360 system:
